Not a good day to be Peter Moores or James Whittaker.

If he'd failed, the press would have had a good laugh at his expence.

No doubt his legal and PR team were responsible for his innings.

Although I presume he threw it away as usual.

He did crank up the scoring rate so he probably did.

Lose lose situation for KP. Had he gotten out cheaply he'd have been lampooned, now he's scored big runs it will be written off as just being against a Uni side.

Still, he looks hungry and in the mood to prove a point. A dangerous prospect for opposition bowlers.

Derek Pringle said a fair bit of the crowd left when he got out.

Gives something for KP to build on, but still a long way to go and there are more notable knocks in the County Championship such as Tom Fell's 114 against the best county bowling attack.

Wilson has also got a ton.

Makes it a bit easier for the press. Though batters making tons in KP's wake used to be a feature of England's batting.

Apparently once he reached three figures, he started bringing out the ramps and reverse hits. It's a friendly, so why not - entertain the crowds.

He's made a couple of snide remarks about the innings and mysteriously didn't acknowledge when he reached three figures. Not that anyone gives a monkeys what Pringle thinks.
