Take out that unbroken 342 run partnership, and it was a good decision.......

441 runs in a day!

Jake Lehmann having a good day. An interesting name to keep an eye on. He doesn't look like he has his father's build.

yay, partnership is broken, at 380-ish. Not before S.o.B.(Son of Boof) brings up his double. Not bad at what is something like his 3rd first class match.

Shame Callum Ferguson's injury has ruled him out the rest of the season. Terrible blow for him.

I see Tassie have dropped Doherty, Paine and Hilfenhaus for this match.

End of an era for Tas?

That gallah has flown I'm afraid. I'm second, and I think I have one player in the final.

The bushrangers fighting back well. Should get a handy first inning lead.

Controversy in the Shield as Victoria coach Mick Lewis gets his team penalised 5 runs and a ball change after scraping (allegedly) the ball in a gutter.

I'm wondering if a coach should be able to incur a run penalty? Sure change the ball. Shouldn't run scoring be the province of the players on the field.

So a coach,or anyone else connected with the team, can interfere with the ball without penalty?
I assume this is the same Mick Lewis(Australia,Victoria and Durham) who was involved in ball tampering as a player.

Fine, suspension, that kind of thing. Not without penalty. But to figure on the scoreboard feel like a precendent.
