Just had a glimpse of Nathu Singh bowl in the Deodhar Trophy game between Gujarat and India 'B'. He is an aggressive quick and when required, bowls those yorkers. I liked the fact that he seemed to take a little bit more time to aim at the base of stumps. However, he is raw. One can see that he has come through playing a lot of tennis ball cricket. He loses his run-up quite a few times. It felt as if all the effort comes from his action.

Anyway, on a flat deck it was Dhawal Kulkarni, who was the best bowler on show. He varied his lengths nicely. For Gujarat, Chirag Gandhi played a fine knock under pressure. Only if he had not rotated the strike to give the last man the chance to face in the final over :)
