Well done Lancs. Another poor start to a season from Notts.

Cracking start to the season. Two dominant wins and a draw where we were on top for most of the match. Unfortunately that's it from Jimmy for the season but Javis and Wagner look good enough to not make it matter too much.

Good to see the boys bounce back from a disappointing loss to Durham. 150 ahead at the end of day 2, fantastic position.

Lancashire certainly looking a lot better with the bat than the last time they popped up in Division One.

Another massive win. Aside from the loss to Durham it's been a fantastic start to the season.

Lancs are performing way ahead of my expectations. Just as well we beat them or they'd be like a runaway train.

And Martin Guptill might make his t20 debut against Durham at Old Trafford on Friday night.
What could possibly go wrong for the visitors? :scared

Absolutely, doubt you'd have found a single Lancashire fan who'd have predicted we'd be top of the table with a third of the season gone. We've already got over half the points Hampshire stayed up with last season. The biggest thing is baring the Durhan game we've not looked like losing at any point. With Smith back we're stronger than at the start of the season; just have to hope Javis stays fit.

Personally the biggest positive has been Hameed stepping up to succeed in Divison 1, unlike Reece before him. If we could poach another top class batsman we'd be a dangerous side.
