pretty fair justification for signing 2 Kolpak here. It seems Lancs have the correct balance between homegrown and experience.

Indeed. Nothing wrong in principle with Kolpak signings and the right ones are of great benefit in helping younger players develop. If a county had a poor Academy system and a history of relying on imports it would be a different matter but Lancashire clearly have a very successful Academy system.

It's kind of unfortunate to have been swept up into the whole Kolpak debate. We're essentially just replacing two overseas players in the squad with the two APs being out of service, nothing is really changing in terms of our squad balance, or opportunities.

Excellent news, though do have to remember that AP is, well one would assume, not coming back next season.
