Fantastic evening at OT last night to avenge the LVCC loss. Big and lively crowd with a team performance to match, no mean feat beating a Yorkshire side with its internationals back.

Only stupid counties develop players.

Yorkshire take them all anyway.

Develop players who aren't quite good enough to play for Yorkshire.

We've done a job job of bringing our own players through over the last few seasons. I was referring to getting in an experienced player with a track record of making runs, essentially someone to replace Prince. You can't develop that overnight.

Bit surprising we won that given Warks were 170 for 4 at one stage.

Glad to put our recent troubles behind us with a solid draw against the Bears. First ton for Hameed as well!

Very tight table this year. Hard to predict a winner at this stage.

We've announced our releases for the season. Reece who has fallen a long way since being viewed as one of the most promising openers in the country a few seasons ago, Griffiths who i thought had done quite well in the T20s, particularly on finals day and Edwards worse not really had any impact.

Ton for HH against a top draw Yorkshire attack.

Tons in both innings for HH, surely will be on a Lions tour this winter.

Bit of an odd draw with Yorkshire showing no sign of wanting to take what was a getable chase, still gives the opportunity to reflect on HHs performance. Crossed 1000 runs for the season, youngest opener to score 4 championship tons in a season and only the third batsman to score two tons in a roses game.

Much s being made of him being the youngest player to do x but it is worth remembering that he, unlike a lot of the top players to play the game, went straight from school into first class cricket rather than going to University which accounts for some of it. Also worth reflecting on the fact that the last three Lancashire openers to be talked up as England potential have all never made it with the latest being released a few weeks ago.

Experienced much the same attitude from Yorkshire at the Riverside earlier in the season on a similarly flat pitch. You need to take up challenges to win championships. Strange attitude but each to his own.

Gillespie and Gale claiming the Old Trafford wicket was deteriorating, hence handshakes on the draw.

A poor get out clause, you simply don't lose a wicket and score close to 4rpo on a deteriorating track. Requiring 180 off 20 overs with 10 wickets in hand is set up for a T20 style chase, I'd have bumped up Leaning, Rashid and Bresnan to go out and thrash it just for practice ahead of Finals Day. If 3 wickets are lost in 5 overs, so be it.

Either Gale is feeling the pressures of captaincy, or worse still this game was subject to spot fixing.

They seem to be putting the responsibilty onto Lyth and Lees which is a bit unfair and a bit buck passing.
