ah, but one direction will only be around for a couple of years.... then what will they do?

In my defence I only saw it after I wrote it.

Second win for Leics against leaders Essex makes it tight at the top. Eight for McKay in the match.

Seems Coles has yet again found himself in trouble. One wonders how long he'll have left in the game if he doesn't sort himself out.

It was Rob Key apparently who persuaded Kent to give Coles another chance and he's no longer there. Perhaps drinking in the last chance saloon is an inappropriate metaphor.

Five wickets for Ravi Bopara in the game with Kent, as well as a 94. An excellent FL pick.

Ravi has a ODI economy rate under 5 I believe...... which in this day and age is outstanding.

Probably a better bowler than batsman in the end

I always felt that England under bowled him when he was in the side, even when he was bowling really well.

In the Paul Collingwood mould with the ball in white ball cricket: very similar productivity in terms of average, economy and strike rate.

Ravi much less trusted by his captains though: bowled just over 2.5 overs per match to Colly's just under 4.5 :hmmm

Day 3 is now called off, what sort of ground have they in Chesterfield?
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

A very pretty ground. But being an out ground it won't have the drainage or the drying facilities of the County ground.
