Is that a collapse or just a complete mod-up?

Either the Lancashire bowling was magnificent or the Warks batsmen were only there for the beer. True they only took 4 batsmen as Evans, Ambrose, Clarke etc haven't a clue this year but those top 4 showed no attempt to take a risk and go for it. Good for the stats though.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Since when was the groups moved to north and south, thought it was random grounds and for some reason thought it was 3 groups as well.

N&S is new for this year. To cut down on travel time/costs say the ECB. Great decision really, makes it easier for them to make counties go from one format to another to another... And some teams you now get to play five times a season, and other sides none at all... (We play Middlesex away from the THIRD TIME IN LESS THAN THREE WEEKS ON TUESDAY!)

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Why did Trott come in at 3 instead of Bell? Surely as captain and principal stroke player it was up to the latter to come in and try and seize the initiative. His strike rate was 97 but presumably that was too little, too late.

Leicester and Durham played their T20. and RL50 on successive days. No reason why all white ball fixtures couldn't be so arranged thus minimising both cost and travel.

Meant to have said groups and not grounds.

Also thanks for the reply just remembered sky doing a draw last year so just wandered how it got changed so quickly.
It does make sense though, is it still the same format of play each other once and top 4 go through.

This good sunny weather appears to be a batting paradise. All todays games show it´s tough to take wickets.
