You should have seen him shift when they shouted last orders.

I suppose in some ways Harmi does deserve sympathy. He can't overcome homesickness when away, and although that's a long way from clinical depression the fact was he couldn't handle it. His dust up with Durham was through loyalty to a sibling and if Harker was naive enough to offer him a long contract could you expect him to turn it down.
Come back Steve, bring him home.

I don't think it was a big story, I must have just remembered it from his newspaper column.

Impossible to know from these stories if the negative comments were in the minority but some of the complaints about long queues outside and inside the ground do not surprise me. There are always too few concessions stands at the ground imo.

Mixed reviews. Some complaining the band weren't on long enough which can't be blamed on the club.

Long queues these days tend to be down to the security measures needed after Manchester.

Someone commented that there were no negative comments for Rod Stewart. I wasn't aware that concert had already been on. Thought it was later in the Summer.

It was on a few weeks ago.
I suspect the audience last night was mainly youngsters and parents who probably aren't familiar with these sort of outside gigs. Big queues and dodgy sound are par for the course in my experience! Especially at a cricket ground when the sound ricochets off the pavilion.
I'm not familiar with the LM songs(!) but also suspect their sound will be pretty tinny/thin to start with - probably gets drowned out by screaming at indoor venues. :D

Security has got to extremely thorough nowadays and if you which to avoid long queues then turn up early, simple as that. There were similar complaints about acoustics during the Rod Stewart concert.

I think there was also some duff info on Twitter ( not from the club ) about what time the gates opened. I saw one tweet from DCC clarifying the time because another source had the wrong one.

So do I unless he starts getting wickets. According to one of the newspapers today England still regard him as a key player for the Ashes but may well rest him from the Windies series. If his form doesn't pick up it might be a long rest!
According to Ottis Gibson he's had a sore heel in this match and that's a reason his pace has been down here. Still questions to be answered about his ability to maintain pace /fitness throughout a series.

He just hasn't looked threatning in either test, which is a huge shame for him

Yes, he's not going to get wickets by moving the ball around so if he's not at top speed he is not much of a threat.
I thought he bowled ok at Lords with not much luck ( and it was only really one innings with the spinners causing chaos in the second one ) but he's looked very ordinary here.
Other thing is he didn't get many wickets early season for Durham, rustiness must be one reason but he still should have been too good for div 2 batsmen.

Could well be. Especially with his fitness issues.
