I said someone needed to follow Jimmy in making a 70.

We get that, we win the game. Instead, we now the need to tail to score about 30 to 40 between them (more if McManus goes soon).

Berg has a FC average of 29, if he can get that, we get close

McManus getting a working over by Coad. Could have been out three balls in a row.

It's a nice change from the usual early season drubbings!

I'm confident now

Special mention to Brad Wheal for his batting effort yesterday, which I think is easy to overlook

Amazing. I haven't dared to comment all day for fear of jinxing it. Well done Hampshire. :clap

I don't care it was an under strength Yorkshire side. We have finally won a D1 game in April! And from being 75-8, and looking like not even avoiding the FO.

Great team effort from the Hants lads and a good way to start the season.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

It also means that for at least a few hours, we are top of the Championship. I'm not sure if I have ever seen us sitting top of the Championship before!

Gobsmacked, can't believe it. Especially after 25 overs or so of our first innings.

I know it's early doors, but just imagine if a team who should have been relegated, went on to win the title!

And McManus producing two crucial innings and not getting out in either innings.
