awful start for Glamoran 9/3.
So many wickets are falling, surely can't be that difficult to bat in a sunny day.
doubt the pitches are green either with the new toss rules.
Although quick start from yorkshire.

How much does season tickets actually cost.

No idea if this happened in the past but it is a joke county cricket is being played in April and more of a joke majority of the county season is over before 1st june.
really county cricket shouldn't be played now.
at best it should start in the last week of april.
Doubt it will get the votes but they really should look at 3 division or 3 conferences to shorten the county season so it doesn't have to be played in April, it won't help that the season going to have 2 t20 competition in the future.

Ian Bell's decision to bowl first is looking like a real blunder, I'm beginning to get doubt's about his captaincy skills. Last year our best victory came when Chris Woakes captained the side.

What's wrong with playing it now? It's been like this for a while anyway. Sunny and 15 degrees. Sounds perfect.

it is sunny now, but what happens if few weeks are washed out with rain or very cold weather.
bit of a lottery with the weather.
really they should be playing most of the cricket during the summer and not in spring.
not really good for the england test team that the bowlers and batsman are not really playing much cricket during the peak cricket season where the wickets mirror international cricket pitches in england and rest of the world the most.
although the weather at the moment looks brilliant for the cricket might reach 23 degrees in the weekend which is june/july average lol.

probably got conned by the green grass on the deck.
Some of the home teams must be laughing these days, get the tricky toss decision out of their way.
not really sure what teams would do in April on a sunny day, do you bowl because it is April and grass on the wicket or do you bat and trust your batsman to get a score.

Four day cricket needs to play when there's a least likely chance of bad weather, T20 can squeeze in the overs even on poor days. The idea of 3 divisions won't ensure the games will be given any better treatment. County cricket is the dunce in the cricket class and teacher prefers to give attention to the brighter class members.

Personally I thick he has doubts about his opening batsmen Porterfield and Mellor and more belief in his pace attack.

Not sunny here, quite significant cloud cover.

Nathan Buck has three wickets in eight balls. Surely a signal for the pitch inspectors to start their cars.
