Anyone else keep an eye on this tournament during our Autumn months.

Lots to like in the format.

Aiden Markram has been absolutely tearing it up for his team, the Titans.

My eye was drawn to a game between the Knights and the Warriors today with some familiar names from our County Championships putting on a show. First Colin Ackerman put on 187 for the Warriors but then the Knights' Ryan McLaren gutted the middle order with a fivefer. Simon Harmer has also stood out for the Warriors in what has been a disappointing bowling performance from them.

I confess to having never followed SA domestic cricket. Not sure why

I find it to be a suitably diverting little sideline to our County Championship.

I like its compactness having, as it does, just six teams.

Some domestic leagues catch the eye more. I tend to follow the NZ and Australian games a bit, but not so much the other countries. There was a time when it seemed that every Kiwi fc player seemed to have played internationals, so you always knew who they were.

first time I've bothered with this and I've started thanks to the all year round FL. I may very well look in from time to time next season.
