Sorry.

Have we lost many posters in the last year?

Hope is one.

rich is a bit in and out, but still sort of here, I'm pleased to say

FTS was absent for a while... quite a while, actually, but is now working his way back towards full contributorness.

Powelly seems to have dropped off the radar, but I think he still looks in now and again (although not since June according to the member page)

I haven't noticed ntini around much... July for him

the ashes seems to have brought m@tt back

behave has mysteriously disappeared ( wink)

shanky?

Shanky has delivered a few waspish posts recently.

Good to hear from Matt, quality cricket poster.

I think Powelly just posts on the Hants thread now, but less often. I think he reckoned there was too much moaning going on elsewhere. Not just on Moan of the Day too. He may have a point.

I neglected to do this last year, so I better get mine in now.

Stuff pm's, have it out in the open.

1. Funniest poster - tricky one. Dry sarcasm may be a lesser form of wit, but I like it, so my vote goes to DFM.
2. Controversial Poster - Again, it's difficult to see past Sussex on this one, so he gets my vote.
3. Best Thread - Hants 2017 obviously!
4. Best Poll - Umming and arring on this one, as I have a soft spot for Anthony Arctica, however I have always supported the Norwegian Nordic sports team and part of Norway is in the Arctic circle, so the north gets my vote this year. Come on Your Highness Boe.
5. Best predict a cricket headline for 2017 - sorry but I haven't a clue.
6. Most intelligent poster - well it ain't me, toss up between a few, Sussex, Arthur, Durham and AP, but I'm always in awe of the wordsmith that is Arthur Crabtree, so he gets my vote.
7. Best cricket knowledge - if there was a worst knowledge award then I'd be in the running, but I'm going outside the box on this one, and for someone so young, he seems to have gathered in a fair bit of knowledge, so my vote goes to Dr Cricket (aka Bhavesh?). Brendy deserves a special mention too, but he seems to post less and less these days, especially outside the English cricket season.
8. Most dedicated poster - Arthur by a mile.
9. Most helpful poster - captaincolly by a large margin too.
10. Most interesting poster - DFM gets my vote for his all round posting, and covering a number of subjects I have an interest in.
11. User I would most like to meet - no one really as I'm an anti social git, but if I was pressed I'd have to say captaincolly, as he seems like a bloody nice bloke. Garlic Jam seems like a really decent chap too, so it would be a close call between those two, not that either would want to meet me!
12. Best User Overall - my vote goes to Arthur, not only as post leader, but I'm not sure there is anyone who appears in more threads, essentially knitting this forum together. Without him, I couldn't see a future for CMS.

PMed mine, but this exchange was my Headline of the Year...

Aidan: Eoin Morgan's cat gets a century on England debut.
Rich1uk: Eoin Morgan's cat dropped by England after being unable to put up a sail in a high wind on a leadership event
