Yeh, just received mine. No mention of further incomings but clearly the letter has been compiled some time ago. No tribute or even mention of Colly which, quite frankly, is a disgrace. Nor any reference to North's appointment -just further illustrates what a disjointed state this club is still in.
Our 2 most senior players, Colly and Rushy, have publicly stressed the need for further stengthening yet their pleas are ignored. I'm going to give serious thought before I consider whether to renew.

Yep. No mention of incoming players sounds ominous. Hopefully it's just a case of North not yet getting his feet under the table but he will have to act quickly.
This 'root and branch' review probably will take time but it is ( or should be!) obvious that we need to strengthen and that requires prompt action.

Tim Bostock will be addressing the Durham and North East Cricket Society on Thursday 1st Nov at 7:30 pm The venue is the Colin Milburn Lounge at The Riverside ground. He will talk about his 'Vision for Durham.'
Might be a good opportunity to hear his plans and ask relevant questions.
There is no charge for attending.

A fair and comprehensive review but the author appears unaware of Salisbury's considerable contribution.

Woody working with Chris Silverwood got to be an improvement on Kevin Shine.

Yes. There's hope for him yet!

Agreed. The problem was the lack of support for Rushy before Salisbury arrived and then a lack of support for both of them.

Career record is 2 FC and 5 list A games so at best he made fleeting appearances. Can't remember if any of those games were for Durham.
