Roussow' finger can't be that bad, he's just caught Patel off Edwards!

If we don't get a 5th wicket tonight, I suspect that Weatherley could be in for a fair bit of bowling tomorrow whilst we wait for the new ball. Without Steyn, and being behind on the over-rate, does make me think that Joe will get some overs. Taking six wickets, if that is what we need, could take time - and the three seamers can't bowl continuously.

As Brendy said, Weatherley bowling his off spin to get us up to the new ball.

Nicks Billy Root out, may decide to stick with the old ball and an all spin attack to get the over rate up, especially as there seems to be a fair amount of spin.

Are we looking at a points deduction right now for slow over rate?

I don't know what the current position is, but we were -3 on the over-rate towards the end of yesterday's play. Largely because of so little spin in the first innings. (It's the downside to giving Fidel lots of overs.)

So many good things to come out of this game, aside from the impending victory.

- The t20 fiasco hasn't impacted Vince's form

- Alsop, Dawson and Abbott all recorded their highest scores of the season.

- Signs that Abbott's form with the ball is returning.

- Fidel continuing to take wickets

Only downsides really are Steyn's injury, and the continued poor form of the openers and Northeast.

We were bottom before the final wicket as well. Currently in the top half!

Thankfully Surrey appear to be getting on top of Lancs.

Lancs need 37 with two wickets in hand, going to be a close one.

Sensational catch at short leg to win it, Somerset will be gutted although pulled off a decent win themselves.

I'm delighted.
