295/5 off 102 overs.

5 runs for 3 batting points.

55 runs off 8 overs for four, unlikely but they may have a bash.

Can always declare at 8 down if not close to 350, and have overs before and after lunch with the new ball.

Deprives Essex of a bowling point into the bargain as well!!

The way Abbott is going, 4 batting points is now well in reach.

24 runs needed off 5 overs.

Should have time for 4 or 5 overs before lunch as well.

Abbott out, 10 still needed, 15 balls left.

Chris Wood with a quickfire 10 off 6 gets us to the fourth batting point with 8 balls to spare, and we immediately declare giving us twenty minutes or so before lunch.

Loving the scorecard, nine scores in double figures including extras, beautifully symmetrical!

If we take three Essex wickets we'll have at least come out of this weather affected game with double figures points as well.

One bowling point achieved in 11 balls!

2nd bowling point should mean we end the day above Essex in the table!

Couldn't really have asked for too much more from that rain affected game.

Maybe we could have done better in terms of those last 50 runs of Essex's, after getting Foster out. Not to the extent of getting a third bowling point (because they'd have almost certainly declared at 8 down), but in terms of stopping them from getting to 300. But that's only a very minor complaint.

As expected before a ball was bowled, it's looking very much like Worcs and anyone else from the other seven.

Surprise surprise it's a beautiful day and we're away from home and we've lost the toss.

Wonder how long Northeast will be out with his busted finger?

Still no Berg, has his wife dropped the sprog yet?

Bloody ridiculous, I didn't get time off work until the waters broke.

Good start but this fourth wicket partnership is really motoring.

21 off that last Fidel over!

Six weeks out for Northeast. Had surgery earlier this week.

Baby Berg arrived yesterday.

Very weird day of cricket. Ball didn't seem to do a huge amount, yet 13 wickets fell. Notts seemed to go out there, from ball one, to bat like a limited overs match.
