Blistering start absolutely. But it's only the required rate. With the PP in operation, and Myburgh as their big hitter.

True, but I was comparing it with our start, and being able to relax a bit with our game whilst Essex remain in control of theirs.

I wouldn't use the word gift. He bowled the odd wide ball, but mainly it's down to two aggressive openers. Really doesn't help with you drop two straight forward catches in the field.
