Are Durham going for these?
I always say that everybody's right.

They're having the usual disastrous collapse - not sure if they're trying to go for the runs or draw. They need plan c quickly!

Plan d being let's rap this up quickly and watch the footy.
2nd chasing an almost identical total (321) and won by 2wkts.

Apparently Latham got another poor decision ( according to Martin Emmerson) but that's no excuse for the shambolic collapse unless the pitch has become unplayable and he hasn't suggested it has.

50 for Rimmington. Under no pressure given the match situation but he must be a good batsman- vital innings the other week against Derbyshire.

That went well. :facepalm
We must somehow find a couple of new batsmen for next season- Kolpaks the only likely option.
Two failures here mean Colly must be near the brink. If anyone can fight back and regain form it'll be him but this horror run of low scores is a massive issue now.

If you look at the scorecard the difference between the 2 teams has been the difference between Trott and Latham's scores. We need a Hussey or Divo which the innings is built around. Warwickshire are top of the division let's not forget

See my "down by the riverside"post-New batsman on his way !
Personally I think Colly's finished-he didn't have a proper close season through his own choice. Having said that his run of form is no worse than Jennings last season. FTECB still haven't named Ed Smith's 2nd in command- must be waiting on Colly

Yeah. I think he's reached the end of the line. There's always hope with someone of his class but even if he does return to form it'll surely still not result in him playing on next season.

I wouldn't play him, if England are going to tie his appearance up in knots. Tell them to *modded* off, we don't need him

and actually we don't.... our batting is so deplorable in T20 that he wouldn't be able to save us on his own

England either release him to play or they don't

next they'll be telling us where he should bat in the order and where we have to place him in the field

The NEPL are delighted to confirm the team to face @DurhamCricket on Tuesday is the following: Kyle Coetzer (C) Jacques du Toit, Ollie McGee, Simon Birtwistle, Kieran Waterson, Mark Watt, Phil Mustard, Jacques Snyman, Stephen Cantwell, Jake McCann and Chris Peareth
The Ist five are seriously good cricketers. Never heard of the others apart from Mustard.

With the way this season is going we'll probably lose!
