There's no need to be quick when you're playing the CC programme in Spring and Autumn.

Kent have signed Matt Henry for the first half of the season. It'll be interesting to see if he can do a Pattinson and blow sides away in the first half dozen matches. When do we play Kent? ah......... naturally!

Tried to access the club website to make a booking with the travel club but it keeps crashing. Front page advertises T20 tickets but club doesn't check to see if site is accessible to buy them. Surprise, surprise!

I think it has been on the blink for a while, it kept crashing last week when I tried to access it.

I think he spent most of the season captaining the Hants second x1, don't know if his form didn't justify a first team place or if they just decided to move on from him.
When he used to play here I thought his ability to bat time and blunt the new ball was very useful regardless of how many runs he scored but those were the days when we had a formidable attack and that's not the case anymore so he will have to score a lot of runs.

He scored profically in the 2nd team championship, as did both Jones and Harte. I'd be more than happy for both Steel and Smith to bat time and blunt the new ball-better than Rockytype run a ball 40s.

Rocky out for a quick 48 in the latest warmup game in NZ!
