Doubtless FTECB will be dreaming up some sort of ban that allows him to play for England but prevents him from playing for us

Scary that Hants are near the foot of the Southern division.
I always say that everybody's right.

There was something on twitter suggesting we are through because of the remaining fixtures for the other teams. Looking at the games left there are a few where other teams in the top 4 are playing each other. I don't know if that means we are through because I can't work these things out!

Yes Notts and Warks can get more than 16pts but they play each other tonight and also the Roses rematch tonight with Notts v Yorkies and Lancs v Warks on Friday. By then it'll be much clearer. I suspect we're already qualified anyway. Important though we get into top two for the home tie to see what crowd we can attract.

Yes. That would be ideal, the marketing seems to have improved significantly recently so we might be able to get a good crowd in if we manage to get the home QF.

Martin Emmerson tweeted that Wood "could" make his return tomorrow at Northants.

Worth his place solely as a batter! At no3!

Yep! Davies - through no real fault of his own - is probably not going to influence many games from way down the order so we could have Wood in without dropping a bowler.

We're playing at 2nd X1 T20 Finals day. It's rained all day but now they're apparently going to play the 2 semi-finals and final as 5 over games!
