Forgot to mention that last night Lewis said the pitch looks like a belter and when Sussex had a look at it on Sunday they were seriously considering having a toss only to change their mind on Monday morning with the floodlights on.

Haines looked nonplussed to be given out lbw. These umpires have trigger fingers. 72/5. 250 more needed.

And then a far more convincing appeal is turned down!

83/6.
Just noticed that Martin Emmerson said Colly shook hands with every player after warm-ups this morning.
Maybe he's going to retire immediately after the match?
Would be a shame if he goes without one last home game.

I think Rushworth can be impossible to stop when he gets into the groove. There was a game a few years ago when he took something like 15 wickets inside a day against Northants. Looked like getting all 10 in an innings until Stokes took a catch off another bowler and was heckled by the crowd.
Wiese out now to Salisbury. 102/7.

A moment of farce as a prolonged lbw appeal against Archer gets turned down only for him to be run out by Michael Richardson after leaving his crease.

Barring the sort of disaster that's surely beyond us this shouldn't last long after tea. It'll be interesting to see if there is any reaction from Colly that suggests he is retiring.

Looks to be some uneven bounce. Ball kept low for a couple of those wickets.
9 down now.

No reaction from Colly. Steel and Rushy led the team off.
Can't imagine though that the morning hugs and handshakes were anything other than him announcing a retirement.
Then again I'm usually wrong!
