182 all out. Unless our second innings starts today it would surely be worth giving some of the first team batsmen a chance for match practice -provided the rules allow it.

Marvellous. I wonder if any of their 'betters' will have a go in the second innings?

That's assuming we bowl Scotland A out of course! Currently 85/1.

Ben Raine warming up nicely for Friday - named the MVP in today's draw 47 runs batting at 8 and then 2 wickets and 2 catches.

McCarthy, Smith, Clark and Poytner also drafted in but it's Pringle who's got the wickets.

7th wicket partnership piling on the runs. There must be growing concern over Rushworth, failed to make any impression so far against Durham MCCU, Kent and again this morning. Were it not for a couple of moderate seasons this slow start wouldn't signify anything and maybe it still doesn't but it seems part of a general downward curve.

150 stand for the 7th wicket and now 486/8 with 35 extras!
Has Poynter taken over behind the stumps? :hide

A century for Smith and half century for Poynter. 3 down though and defeat is a distinct possibility, not that it matters.

:facepalm Of course, it's only the 4th innings - they needed a few runs to win.
