He was off the field this afternoon so I think he is! Only bowled 6 overs.

Yeah, I reckon one more injury that's more serious than the usual niggling ones and that'll be it for him.
I suppose there's a chance that he has just picked up a niggle and he's just being handled with care with the test coming up soon.

hmm shouldnt have been selected then...because now you guys are a bowler down for the whole game....just wouldn't select him for red ball cricket anymore which is sad and a huge shame..

Wood did return to the field according to the cricinfo report. The bad news is prior to that he was "having physiotherapy" So in Nigel's hands then. :facepalm

Woody "hurt his foot" according to Martin Emmerson but may bowl tomorrow. If he's just jarred it it's probably nothing to worry about but if it's an ankle injury it certainly will be a major concern.

He was certainly fielding in the deep without any apparent discomfort and I assumed that he wasn't allowed to bowl because of his lengthy absence until late in the day. By that time the new ball had been taken and he wouldn't be entrusted with it normally

Sounds as if he must be Ok. Fingers crossed! I guess it must be a very flat pitch for Gloucs to score 300 plus? Have a bad feeling about this game though because we are more than capable of a disastrous collapse in any conditions! Let's hope the tail doesn't wag in the morning.

5 wickets for Stokes and the last one was caught by a sub fielder so it suggests Wood is still off the field.

362 all out. Now to take advantage of what must be a flat pitch and rack up 500!

Another ( unsurprising ) stat from Martin Emmerson - 362 is Gloucestershire's highest first innings total of the season.
A poor effort from the bowlers even taking into account Wood's absence.

Steel and Smith out cheaply so we're just threatening to make a mess of this. 64/2.
