I'm sure most Durham supporters are pleasantly surprised that we've qualified, anything further is a bonus. We're underdogs because of the unfair handicap that FTECB have placed upon us.

That's how I look at it. Sussex favourites but we've done exceptionally well to get this far.

Wood not considered fit enough for a 4 day game and Rimmington " rested" for the trip to Cardiff.

Appears the best path for Wood might be get in the 2nds and NEPL and focus on your batting.

Yep. If he can bat on one leg and score a half-century he must be able to bat and he had shown he can play properly on previous occasions.

why would Stokes be available, out of curiosity? England haven't got any more limited over matches this summer, so not sure why they would do us a favour.... or Lancs for that matter

it would be great if they did, but i imagine England will feel that stokes will need a rest after his recent trials and tribulations, despite picking him for their own ends.... whereas they'll probably also feel that Buttler will almost certainly benefit from some middle time

Sky commentary team appear to think they will be but preempting FTECB is a risky call

Bowling first following a delayed start. Smith and Coughlin are the two who miss out.
Conditions must be very bowler friendly and the Glamorgan lineup looks fragile ... so which batsman will score a century?!

Jack Murphy could be a candidate - averages 22 with 1 half century from 24 innings and a best of 73 not out.

looking at our line up, I imagine that Smith must have an injury or needs a rest, because Harte at 3 feels optimistic

I also note that Axar is in, and that we have such confidence in him that we've dropped a seamer

Colly doesn't bowl much these days, so we must be planning to use Harte to provide rest periods for the seamers
