Whilst Durham Twitter don't appear to be aware that we're playing :horse

Typical!

Interesting line up for tomorrow's 3 day friendly.
Durham 2nd XI: Cameron Steel, Will Smith, Gareth Harte (c), Graham Clark, Michael Richardson, Stuart Poynter, Ryan Pringle, Ryan Davies (wk), Josh Coughlin, Barry McCarthy, Gavin Main

So Main is still on the scene.
They must have arranged to bat first and then most of the lineup will leave early - something they're very good at!

Half century for Michael Jones. I wonder if it'd be worth fast tracking him into the first team? I doubt they will but perhaps they should.

344/1. 44 for Steel, Jones and Richardson both with unbeaten centuries.

When Jones gets in he tends to go big! Can't have that-shows the rest of the team up. The triallist w/k Davies is, I assume, the ex-Somerset and Kent youngster.

If it's him it can only be a matter of time before we sign him - averages under 20 in FC & 50 over cricket and had a top score of 6 in T20's. Of course those stats could well be a poor reflection of his ability because he hasn't played much.

I wonder why , out of the likely batting lineup against Northants , only Steel and Richardson started this second X1 friendly?
Further questions might be asked if there's another collapse at the County Ground.

Martin Emmerson also mentioned poor weather in his match notes e-mail. I'd forgotten it but according to Marty our last 4 T20 games at that ground were washouts.
