Record breaking opening stand but a few wickets of late. At one stage I thought 400 was on the cards.
Problem with this lineup is it looks as if the batsmen will have to score around 300 everytime - and they won't be able to unless there's at least one brilliant innings every time.

238/5. Quite a collapse.

314/7. Almost certainly more than enough for a home win but still a good comeback by the bowlers after another atrocious start.
Potts only bowled 2 overs, wonder if that was just tactical or could he be injured again?

Although I suppose it's a worrying sign of the times when the one positive is managing to restrict the opposition to 314!

Colly out stumped in what sounds like a bizarre dismissal - stepped out of his crease and the keeper rolled the ball along the ground and hit the stumps! Now Pringle is in - presumably as a pinch hitter.

Is this the Ed Smith school of tactics where all sorts of theories threaten to make things over complicated ? Someone who has almost literally spent 20 years in the middle order goes up to open whilst the obvious candidate bats at 4.
In the next match we'll probably have Colly as keeper/opener and Poynter opening the bowling ( probably couldn't do any worse than the current pair!)

Pringle gone now. Some talk that both wickets were iffy umpiring.
Start the car - Richo out now and he was bowled so can't blame the umpire! 27/3.

They won't make 100 at this rate.

Until the next game!
The only surprise was Keaton Jennings not getting a hundred.
