Any indication how Woody bowled at Derbyshire in the CC? In terms of pace, any indications from the game?

Apparently his pace was good in both innings, the match report claimed his figures in the first innings didn't reflect how well he bowled. Then on the final day he bowled a lot of overs. Only caveat is some county cricket reporters regard mid 80's as being quick bowling. He needs to be up around 90mph to be successful at test level imo.

Thanks.

He has looked under paced when I have seen him fairly recently.

I thought so too. He wasn't bowling at full pace during the winter tours.

A couple of wickets in quick succession for Rimmington and maybe we have a chance now - 104 still needed in just under 15 overs.

4 down. Rimmington again. Maybe he has finally found his form.

Needless to say Luis Reece is past his previous career best score and looks on course for his first century. Prior to this match his top score was 62 and his average 23.

The problem now is that Rushy and Rimington only have another 4 overs between them. At least the required run rate should help the other bowlers.

Bowled by Harding for 92.

I can't help but feel that we will throw this away in the last 5 overs

Derbs are keeping up with the required rate and with two expensive bowlers that they can target right at the end

If we don't lift these two in the next two overs then the game will probably be gone

Dixon on, so they might very well smack a few to take the pressure off later

perhaps we're hoping to buy a wicket?

First 4 balls off Dixon's over sees the RRR drop from 9 to 6

18 off the over.............that went well :facepalm
