lead is 129
Derbyshire a bowler down now too. Gleadall went off mid-over a short time ago.

surviving manfully, by the looks of it. Rimmer seems to be doing all the scoring atm
Hopefully Harte can keep on hanging in there

but... if we can set them something in excess of 200, then who knows?
we'll probably come back and add 2 runs for the last 2 wickets, though

Extras 68 not out and the top scorer!

69 extras now and according to Martin Emmerson another 4 will break the record for the most conceded by Derbyshire in a Championship match. 10 conceded in the first innings.

Salisbury has been in for nearly 70 minutes and is blocking well. Much better than the Rushy/Onions school of tail end batting.

Brilliant century for Harte. Got an edge for 4 past the slips on 94 and might have been in trouble on 99 but there was a misfield.
Lead 235.

They've done it. 77 extras now.

well... this is a pleasant surprise. I drove past the ground earlier and had a quick squint at the scoreboard as I went by to find we were still batting
Of course, now I worry that the pitch has flattened out and Madsen will cruise to a century tomorrow in a famous Derbyshire win

Looks as if it has flattened out but very poor bowling and Derbyshire seem flat in the field - very quiet.
Hard to tell if the pitch has totally gone placid or they're just bowling badly- 81 extras now!

One possible concern is Matt Salisbury batting through the session relatively untroubled- just had a look and his FC average is 8. He's 25 not out now, previous best was 24.
Still, Durham must be fairly strong favourites- or is that tempting fate?

And naturally he's out now! I've jinxed him.
