been excellent cricket weather up here. Northants could have scored 400 and bowled us out twice to complete an innings and 150 victory without having to worry at all about tomorrow. Could have gone to Seaham beach today for a bbq and a jolly with their work done, instead of sitting around for day after day losing this week's wages at cards and improving their tour of duty score to unprecedented levels

That extraordinary first innings by Matt Renshaw the difference between the two sides? Someone who I don't think is known as a flashing blade playing like that in bowler friendly conditions might just be bad luck for Yorkshire.
