Word on the grapevine is Stoneman threw his bat in the bin, hence Yorkshire being awarded 5 penalty runs.

The bin is the best place for it considering the way he has been batting!

Oh bless.........

I can feel his pain

Crazy game at Kent. Grant Stewart with 6-22 in Middlesex's first innings of 56 all out and , in Kent's second innings of 281 he scored 103 from 74 balls batting at number 10!

Mates with Mitch Claydon. Worked his way through the seconds and made a fleeting debut last season.

Morne Morkel has Yorks 70-6. Looks like he's bowling Surrey to a win, unless the pitch is a cabbage patch.

Kent only score 200+ in both innings and yet win by nearly 350 runs

got to be a dodgy pitch, surely?

6-22 for a new kid and 6-36 for someone who looked a very average bowler last year

I smell a rat

(I wonder if Rob Key will comment on this pitch?)

Morkel terrorising the Yorkshire batsmen, whereas the seam quartet of Coad, Brooks, Bresnan and Patterson are too samey in pace. Would have backed Matty Fisher to do well with the extra pace and bounce on offer at Scarborough, but which of the seam four do you realistically leave?

Praying for sea fret tomorrow so Yorkshire can beat Surrey by 4 runs :D
