Anmolpreet Singh's catch at deep square leg of bowling of Mayank Markande to dismiss Srikar Bharat is the best catch of Ranji Trophy 2018.

Mumbai have fought back well and in fact look well positioned to take a lead as Gujarat still trail by 65 runs with 2 wickets remaining. Injury prone pacer Tushar Deshpande has bowled only 7 overs which probably suggests he has got himself injured while playing. Missed the complete Ranji Trophy 2017 edition, played first match this year, missed second match and now injured during third match. He is the fastest of the Mumbai pace attack who took a 6 fer in opening match against Delhi. None of set Gujarat batsmen have converted start into a 100. Good for us. Having said that, out of 17 wickets to have fallen at Wankhede over 2 days of play, the pacers have taken 15. Out of 165 overs bowled in 2 days, 125 overs have been bowled by pacers.

Punjab replied with 282 to Delhi's first innings of 107. Delhi has not done well in 2nd innings too. They trail by 69 runs with just 4 wickets in hand. Probably an innings loss is on the cards. Siddharth Kaul backs his 6 wicket first inning shaul with 2 in 2nd innings so far.

Batting in second innings Kerala trail by 227 runs with 6 wickets intact. Massive innings loss very likely for Kerala. Kuldeep Sen and Avesh Khan have been very impressive in second bowling innings as well.

Mumbai managed to get a lead of 16 runs but the top order fell again. Shivam Dubey has been exceptional. 172 runs lead with 3 wickets remaining is not at all looking good also considering that Mumbai have an injured pacer.

Easy win for Punjab by 10 wickets. Delhi have lost home game. Shikhar Dhawan who is dropped from test squad has not played this match for Delhi. Wonder if he will play next match.

Dhrumil Market takes strike to begin Day 4 for Mumbai.
Roosh Kalaria to bowl the first over of the day.

The over rate is pathetic from both teams.

Mumbai are 157/7.

Bad luck for Gujarat. Shivam edged that one down the leg side bowled by Roosh Kalaria. Not given out. Very poor call by umpire Nandan. Good first over by Roosh.

Time to get DRS in Ranji Trophy matches to avoid such blunders.
