Good to see Amol Muzumdar in commentary box. Need star players in the combox. Not much crowd with just 20 odd spectators . Think that will go to 100 odd by 11 a.m. as people reach other end of the city. Free entry and moreover it's Saturday. Pathetic attendance. Partly because 5 Ranji star players are missing from both teams as they are in Australia .

But then players like Shikhar Dhawan could have easily played in Delhi and there would be some star factor to Ranji matches. The captaincy too is negative. Surely it is in the ongoing Mumbai and Gujarat match too. The A tours by India A have increased as well. Currently the India A is in NZ playing NZ A. More stars unavailable for some Ranking matches. No wonder spectators are not interested to go all the way to the ground.

Roosh strikes to dismiss Royston. Easy catch at first slip for Kathan. Last man in. Mumbai are leading by 195 runs.

Single. 50 for Shivam Dubey. Well played. :clap Lead of 198.

12 overs in one hour. Rubbish. Another let down for the 20 odd spectators at the ground.

Mumbai all out for 187. Easy return catch to Piyush Chawla. Gujarat needs 204 to win on final day today. 70 overs to get them in. 6 points for a win.

Priyank Panchal is the key wicket. If we get him early the run rate will be in control. Moreover he usually converts starts well to a good contribution.

Dhawal Kulkarni getting some swing away from rightie. But Priyank has smashed two back to back fours. Wonderful straight drive followed by a boundary through point.

As anticipated Priyank has raced to 31 runs from 19 balls. Excellent start for Gujarat.

Kathan on 17 from 27 balls.

56/0 in 10 overs at Lunch. Gujarat favorites to win.

Need 148 runs in 60 overs .

Any width by bowlers was scored off. Priyank and Kathan attacked the information Mumbai bowler of the match Royston in two overs and forced him out of the spell. Looked good because the batsmen connected the ball well, otherwise it would have looked bad to play away from the body and all that. Connecting middle of bat was key with those shots away from body and so they did.

Dhawal Kulkarni is one of the most experienced players this Ranji along with Vinay Kumar, Piyush Chawla, Gautam Gambhir, Parthiv Patel, Ashok Dinda but he is just under performing for us. Not enough wickets last two seasons as well. Neither is his captaincy improving. He is allowing to let the game slip inspite of being on top of opposition. Even Gujarat could not deal killer blows when they were totally on top with Mumbai being about 74/5 and 41/5 in first and second innings respectively. This second innings batting display by Gujarat is looking like difference maker. Boring stuff from Mumbai. Can't see making the next round this year with this team and captain.

Excellent bowling by Kuldeep Sen and Avesh Khan. Kuldeep took 3 for 17 and Avesh took 4 for 8. Kerala were bowled out for just 63 :panic Madhya Pradesh are leading by 98 runs with half centuries by Rajat patidar and Naman Ojha.

Batting in second innings Kerala trail by 227 runs with 6 wickets intact. Massive innings loss very likely for Kerala. Kuldeep Sen and Avesh Khan have been very impressive in second bowling innings as well.

MP still favorites as Kerala have 125 runs onboard with just 2 wickets remaining.

Vishnu Vinod scored 193 and Basil Thampi scored 57 for Kerala to stage a great recovery. 100 /6 to 455 all out.

Madhya Pradesh needs 148 runs with 2 wickets intact.
