Round 8 matches have started today. 17 matches to be played. Tough to track all.

Delhi won the toss and opted to bay first.
Dinda just bowled a great delivery. Pitched on middle, moved away to uproot the off stump as rightie Kunal Chandela tried to defend with a straight bat. Wicket with the 4th ball of the innings. Excellent start for Bengal.

Mumbai are playing Vidharbha. To start in some time. Shreyas Iyer played well on returning back for Mumbai after playing NZ A. That's good for us.

Dinda strikes again in 7th over. Traps leftie Anuj Rawat LBW for 7 runs. Delhi are 23/2.

Vidharbha won the toss and no wonder opted to bat first.

Mumbai are yet to get outright win which is very very disappointing having played some home matches. Shardul Thakur is playing today for Mumbai. Shreyas Iyer and Shardul Thakur should bring their LIST A and international experience to help Mumbai register first outright victory. Tough as Vidharbha have won toss and opted to bat on their home ground. Their batsmen too have been in good form, especially leftie captain Faiz Fazal with 3 tons. His opening partner Atharwa Taide has 3 tons as well this seasin iirc. Then they also have Wasim Jagger, the most experienced Ranji cricketer with probably 2 tons this season. Tushar Deshpande make comeback. His pace gives our attack the variety

The Vidharbha openers played Shardul and Tushar well in first four overs. Faiz though gave a leading edge to a unorthodox field position. Big wicket for Mumbai. Wasim Jaffer walks in . Need to get him out early as well.

Vidarbha are well placed at 53/1. First change Shivam Dube comes into attack. Vidarbha should be looking for a score in range of 375-425.

Another poor show by Mumbai.

Vidarbha have posted 261/2 in 54.4 overs. Wasim Jaffer on 144*.

Poor bowling and some dropped catches have helped Vidarbha dominate Mumbai. This could be a very big score now.

17 matches of Round nine started today. 4 QF's , 2 semis and Final to follow.

Mumbai have rolled Chhattisgarh in a session and half for just 129 runs. 46/5 for Tushar Deshpande. :clap He needed a 5 wicket haul this Ranji season badly. Not against a good batting lineup but he will take it.

Shreyas Iyer who has mentioned about fatigue is missing this game due to stiff back. Mumbai are 118/3 and trail by just 11 runs. This should be an outright victory.

Really impressed with both Sanjay Ramaswamy (112*) and Wasim Jafer (111*) of Vidarbha in their Quarter Final against Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhan posted 355 in their first innings but Ramaswamy and Jafer single-handedly....or double-handedly....are turning the screw with a partnership of 215 to bring Vidarbha to witin touching distance with just one wicket down.

Vidarbha versus Kerala at Kerala
Kerala were blown out at their home ground for 106 in 28.4 overs. Umesh took 7/48  Rajneesh picked remaining 3. Great stuff by Vidarbha pacers. Vidarbha lead by 65 runs with opener Faiz scoring a 50.

Saurashtra versus Karnataka at Bengaluru
Very strong batting lineup of Karnataka at their home ground recovered from 30/4 to 264/9. Manish, Shreyas Gopal and Sharath scoring 50's. 4/50 for Jaydev.
