but not the side they'll go for..... WL's has no sister in it.

I'm almost certain they'll play Raine at 6, so one of your top 6 might miss out unless they fancy stacking the batting and have Poynter in at 8

I didn't realise that Eckersley scored 5,600 runs in 7 seasons at Leicester. It would take most of our boys 10 years or more to do that if the last couple of seasons are anything to go by, so maybe they'll find a way to fit him in as a batsman?

Not sure, he wasn't playing against Durham MCCU but can't remember if he played in SA. Unless he's injured ( surely not!) he must have done.

ah, he certainly played in the Yorks game, so he must be fit

I'd have him in the starting XI and drop a batsman... early season last year he was scoring more than the batsmen anyway

Yeah, very handy player. There'll be at least one change ( or hopefully two if Wood gets the all clear ) after the first match with Bancroft arriving - assuming he does!

As regards sister as you call him, remember the 2 who supported his inclusion last season are no longer at the club. O can't see the reason for signing Eckersleg unless they're going to give him 1st opportunities.
Weighell was on the tour but went at 5 an over and did nothing with the bat.
I'm afraid I'm rather sceptical about Bancroft 's reason for arriving late.
