Both dropped apparently- Eckersley before, and Bancroft just after ,making 50.
They must have our script.

Bancroft was on 69 but Eckersley only had 5!

Yep. Bancroft was pretty much guaranteed to make a big score at some point because he's a quality player, Eckersley a very good cricketer too. Famine of feast for Lees but he's a classy batsman.
Same old story with the rest - individually Harte, Burnham and Trevaskis have all shown promise but it's asking for trouble to have them all in the same lineup.

I'm not sure what the highest one is but ( stats from Martin Emmerson ) There have been 4 opening stands worth 0, and overall 155 runs in 12 innings at an average of 12.9.

I dont think so- had a look though and there was an 83 run opening stand against Derbyshire!

Harte & Lees opened against Derbyshire. Both made 50's in the second innings.
