Might me more rain on the way. Martin Emmerson says there are more dark clouds over the ground but no rain yet so still planning to resume at 5.

And bad light has delayed the resumption.

Starting just now. 152 needed in 24 overs.

Seems Salisbury also shares that opinion.

The only hope now is for rain, bad light or a miracle!

Rutherford out in Raine's first over but they've already passed 50.

Salisbury has got rid of Wessels but the required rate is down to about 6. We could probably muck up that sort of chase but I'll be amazed if Worcs do.

Although Carse has bowled Mitchell for 0. 81 needed from 14.2.

And they are threatening to prove me wrong and make a mess of it - 81/5.

Cox and Whitely look to have taken back control. Trouble with these chases is one or two bad overs and the game goes.

Worcestershire win but at least we made that straightforward looking target slightly challenging for them. Half century for Lees is encouraging but we keep getting off to poor starts in the power play. Two great innings from Bancroft and one from Richardson rescued us in the first two games but constantly being two down is poor. I wonder if there's a case for retaining Harte when Richo returns and leaving out Clark.

ah well.... that's what happens when one team has to play half a 50 over game, and the other has 24 overs to chase a bog standard T20 total

it'll happen again at Edgbaston.... guaranteed
