we could easily be the runaway favourites to win a trophy by virtue of being the only county to have a complete senior XI in an otherwise development competition

That's what I was thinking too. Although Bangers - assuming he's not picked up for The 100 - might not be playing because I think I read somewhere overseas players aren't going to play in the 50 over comp. Although I might be wrong about that.

Yes, I've read likewise. I suspect we'll lose Bangers, Scott Steel and Lees which is our batting.Killeen, as Northernmost bowling coach, will presumably have the say as to which bowlers are bid for.

of course it is possible that we might lose a whole host of our players to the hundredth. not playing regularly, of course (because they are none of them good enough at T20 to actually play more than once or twice), but sitting on their arses throughout the most summery part of the summer

that sounds more than possible........ it sounds decidedly likely
