That's all we need.Is Rushy fit to bowl? Yes! End of discussion. Reminds me of FST's response to Gordon Pirie when he suggested he did laps around the deck to keep fit. That after a 1000 over season. Fred looked at Pirie, looked overboard and said "Cans't tha swim lad?" .

:lol:
Exactly! Funnily enough the other one apparently not passing the tests is Lees! And Lees & Rushworth are probably our two best players.

And the moral of the story is "Ban all fitness tests".

Come to think about it, I doubt if Benks or Divo passed many fitness tests judging by the amount of ale they supped. And as for IDB...

Yep! It's about getting runs and taking wickets.

I'd forgotten about that. I'm sure you're right, he had an underwhelming season.

Tweet from Rushy doesn't suggest that he's anything other than perfectly happy at Durham.

Wasn't the result we wanted last night, but thank you to
@DurhamCricket
and all of the supporters for a great night. Very proud to enter the field with my kids and something I will remember forever. Amazing support and a record breaking crowd!!!
Not so sure he is bothered about playing T20. He thinks bowlers particularly in powerplays are on a hiding to nothing. Not should our lead fast bowler be hurling himself around the outfield when fielding in T20.

Yeah. He seemed in good spirits last night.
There was another tweet a week or so ago that could be interpreted in an ominous way but he didn't clarify what exactly he wants to change!

maybe he fancies a 2 year deal with a guaranteed coaching role at the end of it?

we surely wouldn't make that mistake again

Hopefully not! But you never know. Not sure how long he has left on the current deal- must be at least a year.

Lancashire are playing their 'home' T20 QF at the Riverside because the date clashes with the Old Trafford test!
