Probably about time to get this up...

With no reason for two spinners in April (Crane not even named in the squad), and surely no reason for five seamers at any time, I'm thinking our XI tomorrow might be:

Markram, Vince, Weatherley, Northeast, Rilee, Alsop, Dawson, Berg, Barker, Abbott, Fidel

Markram surely has to have a better first day for you than he did for Durham - out for a pair! Apparently it was the first time a player had been dismissed for a pair on the first day of his Championship debut.
Although I suppose he could top that by being out for two first ball ducks on the first day!

Doing okay so far, 44 not out.

Decent score by Hants at mid afternoon after being put in on a damp day.

That's put the mockers on things!

63 in the end.

Looking forward to Barker making a few annoying runs down the bottom of our order.

Hi Mark.

Yep decent start to the season thus far, Roussow seems to have opted for one day mode in the longer format. Probably better than scratching around for a 30 ball 10.

Sorry to see that H&W look like spending just the one season in the National League.

I've been to see Poole Town a few times this season. God it's grim in the seventh tier!

Hi Budgers !!!!

i haven't seen the Hawks for the last two seasons , I just can't stand Bradbury

i've watched a lot of football at step 8 and 9 this season and have been pleasently suprised , not perhaps at the standard but the style of play , i know what you mean about step 7 though , its a bit more brutal

anyway its nearly over and proper sport is about to take over :clap

Yep, the game at the weekend against Hendon, there were at least 3 red card tackles in the first 10 minutes. Two talkings to and a yellow card! Seems to be a league where all the best players are short. Too short to progress up the league but too much skill at this level.

Poole Town's ground is not good enough to get higher than tier 6, one tiny stand with seats and pretty much the rest is standing round the edge of the pitch.

But you're right with AFCB safe it's all about the cricket for the next 5 months!

Hopeful signs that Northeast can improve on his pretty average first season with us.

Last season Northeast scores 479 runs in 19 FC innings with 1 ton and a top score of 129

Has already got 2 tons and beaten that 129

Also, Wheater plays no further part in the match and needs surgery on his hand, so we only need 18 wickets

First time for two seasons apparently that we've picked up maximum batting points.

In game one. In April. Against Essex.
