Everyone saying Chelmo is a bunsen, but Harmer is really the only spinner taking wickets there...other teams come and their spinners arent running through us...takes turn but isnt a minefield by any stretch

I thought Harmer was shuffled out of international cricket because of a questionable action? Maybe he has that advantage?

Isn't it nearly always that when a spinner consistently takes well above average wickets people question his action?

The guy is just a class act, and i think CSA will be kicking themselves that they let him go

Why do we continually pick Mason Crane?

The guy is awful and doesn’t spin the ball. It’s embarrassing

I'd love for someone to explain why we decide to recall Soames - just one game after (rightfully) dropping him.

Good fightback from Abbott. They were on for 550+ at one stage. Still, I fear we could be in for another heavy defeat.

1 run short of another batting point! Hope that's not critical at the end of the season.

Rather than me saying that Donald needs to come in for Soames next match (because I'm bored of saying that, and for whatever reason Donald doesn't appear to in favour with the powers that be), then how about going with Holland or Berg? Or course neither of them are an opener, but quite clearly neither is Soames. At least we'd still be left with a bowler.

Although if England lose tomorrow, it might be irrelevant because Vince and Dawson would quite likely be back.

Play Donald? Give Holland a chance to open?

Well well...

It's almost as if you can read the game, brendy

not sure you are allowed to do that.... probably best to leave it to the people with all the experience.... Being a member of a cricket club is just like being a tax payer....all you have to do is give them your money every year... after that you can ssip off and mind your own business.... until it's subscription time again, of course

539 before lunch on day 2. Might have been a poor decision to bowl first!

I was gobsmacked. You NEVER choose to bowl first at the Rose Bowl. But especially not in July, after a week of sunny weather.

And that's before you factor in Jeetan, their best bowler. Let me think about this a moment; would the opposition rather face Jeetan in the first session of day one, or the last session of day four?

Satisfactory morning! Warks lost 5 for 30 runs.
