Yorkshire at Trent Bridge tomorrow which threatens to be a very cold encounter.

Yorks squad of 13-

Gary Ballance
Harry Brook
Ben Coad
Jack Leaning
Adam Lyth
Duanne Olivier
Steven Patterson (Captain)
Mathew Pillans
Josh Poysden
Joe Root
Jonathan Tattersall (Wicketkeeper)
Tom Kohler-Cadmore
Matthew Waite

No Tim or Bairstow, I assume for different reasons. Don't think Tim is at the IPL. Five pace bowlers, so maybe one of those not to cross the line tomorrow, or whenever they get started. Fisher and Logan are injured.

Got a slightly better vibe about Yorks this season than recently when I've been thinking they'd go down.

Bresnan has probably been ruled out with a back injury. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sport/c ... -1-9679076

Essex have got one v Hants now. Yorks finding it too cold to swing at Trent Bridge.

Markram 2 not out so already a vastly better debut for Hampshire than he had for Durham ( 0 & 0 on his first day)

Vince must really want to open if Markram, a successful international opener, is pushed down to three.

Batting sounds tough at Wantage Road but Northants have battled to 141/3 with Wakely reaching 50. Has been hit and dropped.

Sussex bowled out for 173 against Leicestershire. You'd probably expect Leics to struggle against the Sussex attack but a very good day for them so far.
