When the time comes to play the University matches in Feb ahead of the March 7th county season opener and resume the second half of the county championship in September for a mid October finale, they'll probably decide to get Dukes to make a perfectly smooth red ball with no seam and ban the overarm delivery, just so they can say that English cricket is healthy, using the sheer weight of runs scored as evidence.

Northants have Luke Wood back on loan four 4 games and Jamie Overton on loan until June 13th. Not sure who is injured but they are saying it is due to injury. Bavuma also here until July.

The good news is that Anderson is out for Lancashire. The bad news is that Gleeson (of all people) has taken 2 wickets.

Yorks 96-6! Surely there shouldn't be CC matches played this near the summer months?

 Won the toss too. What Yorkshire need to do is follow Durham's example of setting a platform with solid opening partnerships. :horse

Gleeson has 5. Is this any way to thank the county who gave him the chance to resurrect his career?

A day for the bowlers. 14 wickets and the Yorks seamers fighting back.

Crawley and Robinson more than double Kent's score. Surely no one wants that.

Dom Sidley is 80 not out for Warwickshire. 20 away from a sixth century in six consecutive FC matches. That stat is from George Dobell.

Kent v Yorks is boiling up nicely. Could be a good finish.

Notts taking a pasting.

Yorks are on course to win, I think. Big turn around from yesterday morning. I wish Durham could do that
