Kicked off the third edition today with Amo beating Band-e-Amir.

One of the rising stars of Afghan cricket was the stars for today despite the fact he was on the losing side.

Darwish Rasooli was the only player to score over 30 as he got to a 56 ball 55 but was let down by the rest of the team - with 7 getting out in single figures.

Rasooli was in fine form last year and was called up to the Afghanistan A team for a tour of Bangladesh but was a disappointment. He will hope to rekindle his chances of being the next young Afghanistan prodigy in this tournament.

Tomorrow Mis Ainkak plays Spin Ghar

Runs were flowing today as three batsmen scored centuries. Inevitably it was Speen-Ghar - the side that scored two of them - that prevailed.

Captain Nasir Khan's 105 was the highest score as SG overtook Mis Ainak's total of 277 with three overs to spare.

Yousuf Zazai, once a star at Under 19 level, burst his way back into the public consciousness with 5-29 as he helped limit Boost to 213 as they chased Mis Ainak's 243.

Boost were unbeaten in the competition up until now whilst this was Mis Ainak's second win.

Final of this tomorrow as Mis Ainak play Boost.

Boost qualified first with Mis Ainak having to beat Amo today.

Another teenage Afghan bowler caught the eye with 19 year old Shamsurrahman getting 4-34 and knocking off Amo for 169, a long way short of the target of 206.

This started today with a whimper rather than a bang.

Band-e-Amir were too strong for Boost who were humbled to 89 all out. Wickets were shared around but Amir Hamza's 3-10 was a highlight.

BEA overhauled the total in 18 overs.

Mis Ainak started their season off with a win with another game that seemed more like a T20.

After getting 182 in 48.4 overs, Haseebullah, another Afghanistan teenager, got a fivefer to get Speen Ghar all out for just 145 in 34 overs.

After two blink and you'll miss them style games, Amo's victory over Boost at least went the distance.

Boost posted 216-5 but Javed Ahmadi took that on almost single handedly. He scored 125 with the highest score from any other batsmen being 37.

Boost have now lost both their games.

Darwish Rasooli loves this tournament and registered his third List A century as Band-e-Amir beat Speen Ghar. Rasooli's 106* helped BEA to 74 but Speen Ghar stuttered to 233 all out with four balls left.

BEA have won both their opening games and top the table.

Speen Ghar got their first win of the tournament as they combined a strong batting display with a devastating bowling performance to beat Boost.

After getting 263 with the bat, Boost were all out for 152. Farhad Momand's 3-33 was the pick of the performances.

Young Afghan opener Asghar Atal made his second half century score of the tournament as his 81 helped Mis Ainak to their second win of the season. It was a tight run thing and went down to the final ball where Mis Ainak neede da boundary to win....which they duly delivered with a 4.

Nasibullah Sherdali's 72 was not enough to see Boost beat Mis Ainak.

It was hard going for Mis Ainak who took it down to the last over before over turning their score of 189. Mis Ainak are now second on NRR alone whilst Boost slump to bottom.

Bit of a trend of the highest scoring batsman ending up on the losing side in this comp.

This time it was Band-e-Amir's Asif Musazai whose fairly slow placed 89 was the top score of the game - however Amo polished the total of 180 off in just 32 overs.

Amo now top the table.

With Amo straight through to the final tomorrow, Band-e-Amir faced off against Mis Ainak to join them.

It was a bit of a non event after the first innings where Mis Ainak's Zia-ur-Rehman got 5-26 to skittle BEA out for 129 in 33 overs. Perhaps pacing themselves for the final they took 37 overs to overhaul them.

There was a century apiece in the final - however the bigger came from a Mis Ainak player and it was that that made all the difference.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz's 128 shepherded his side to the total of 261 with three overs to spare. He is also their captain at just 18.

Mis Ainak become the first team to have won the title twice.

This competition is bubbling up nicely after a few quiet matches. Caught the start of Band-e-Amir's humiliation at the hands of Amo today. Amo got BEA all out for a mere 108 before needing only half their allocation of overs to get the better of their total. Ibrahim was the star bowler for them as he registered the economical figures of 3-14. He now has the joint highest wickets in the tournament; at the best economy.

It is the second win of two for Amo who top the table. Inversely BEA are zero from two and take up the rear.

Boost's Ihsanullah leads out the highest run scorers thanks to scores of 125 and 74.
