In Port-of-Spain, the West Indies Emerging Team won their semi-final, which was interrupted by several floodlight failures, on D/L.
Ashley Nedd took 4-29, and there were two wickets each for Kevin Sinclair and Yannick Cariah, as the spinners bowled Barbados out for a paltry 119 all out, with nearly 20 overs to spare. Zachary McCaskie topscored for the Bajans with 40.
Chasing 111 to win off 43 overs, the youngsters limped to 112-7 in the 39th over, led by a knock of 27 from Joshua da Silva. Ashley Nurse took 3-35 and Miguel Cummins 2-22.
