maybe Graves will find a nice little job for Kevin Shine........ head of global fast bowling innovation, perhaps?

Both so horribly incompetent that they'd probably get on well together

Yeah. That's a very strange decision. They must be up to something!

Ground is a housing development when we turn up next season. Free transport though to wherever we're playing.

Leicester are offering £99 memberships. Doesn't include the Dribble which is a £50 add on, but that is still good value for money. They have also announced a reciprocal agreement with Warks, Derbyshire and Notts which allows Leics members free entry to some or all of their fixtures too.

Much better value than our membership I think. Although perhaps we should just be grateful that we still play at least some of our home matches at home :horse

Yep. That Leicestershire deal looks good. I wonder if Botham leaving his Sky job is behind some of the venue changes? In a recent interview he mentioned having more time to spend on Durham and I'm sure he said - at the q&a session with Martin Emmerson- he wanted to take the game around the county...although beyond the county would be more apt!

30 not out and a wicket. Good start for him. He'll probably do well...and then get injured just before the start of our season.

Possibly but the good news -no Nigel to treat him.

3 wickets in the first innings and Aussie A are struggling again after being asked to follow on. No wickets for Carse in the 2nd dig. Has been a bit expensive (going at over 4 an over) but when Aus were on the rack, he and Tom Abell between them knocked off the last 4 wickets in 18 balls . Something we never seem able to do
