What can you expect when you allow a lunatic to take over the asylum and allow him to do exactly what he wants?

Bostock interviewed at length on LookNorth, came over well. Seems as if there's any cricket priority will be given to T20 and the folly.
More pleasing is club is already in discussion with local health trusts to using the facilities for testing, also staff in anyway they can to assist health provision.
There's also a £50m ECB fund reserved for grants for infrastructure which Bostock suggests is converted into grants to cover short-term cash flow problems. Bostock talked more sense in 5 minutes than Graves has in 5 years.

I saw that interview

T20, Internationals and the hundredth. Most of which won't affect us.

I suppose the question becomes 'what happens to membership subscriptions'? From my point of view a handful of T20 matches is a poor return for £210, but at the same time the club are likely to need the money, so I'd be happy for them to keep the money and have my membership deferred to next year

I'd be happy with that arrangement. Let's hope the medical experts advising the government know what they're doing! The measures introduced seem absolutely insane to me...but I'm not a scientist so presumably the seemingly draconian measures are necessary.

going to be a very odd summer

I'm not sure I've ever looked forward longingly at September before. Certainly not in March

Strange days indeed

(that John Lennon knew what he was talking about)

I wonder how he'll manage to say goandfuckyourselfyoudaftbastard without being rude?

that'd test the oratory skills of Caesar, Gandhi, Churchill and Martin Luther King, let alone that daft bollock

He's actually been given a get out of jail free card but he's probably too arrogant to see it let alone grasp it.

5 cricketers of year are

Some bird I've never heard of.

The 'bird you've never heard of' is by some margin the outstanding female cricketer in the world currently. Had a poor T20 WC by her standards, but she is pretty much the Ben Stokes of international women's cricket... if anything she's a better bowler

Surprised Ellyse Perry hasn't been named before.

And Harmer.

I suppose they only ever include one woman and one county player. I can't remember who they went with last year. I think Rushy made it onto the five, one year

Yes, that's why she's been awarded the female cricketer of the year. Undoubtedly, therefore, outstanding at her level but must be some Amazon to be able to bowl with the ferocity of Ben.
