Blackwood's problem seems to be one of consistency. He starts with some good scores, then falls away, and right now he's averaging 35 in this regional competition. When Mayers, Palmer, Kieran Powell, da Silva, Barnwell, Hemraj, Lil Bravo and Young Chanderpaul are all averaging over 40, it's hard to see him work his way back until he becomes more consistent.

At Providence, left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul took 4-39 to skittle Jamaica out for 187 on the opening day of the fourth round, Jermaine Blackwood providing the only resistance with a knock of 81. At stumps, defending champions Guyana were 17 without loss.

In Roseau, Trinidad and Tobago posted a promising 232-2 against the Windward Islands on the first day's play. Stand-in captain Yannick Ottley was 84 not out, and veteran Jason Mohammed 85 not out.

The game between Barbados and the Leeward Islands starts today.

At the halfway stage of their low-scoring encounter at Providence, the game is now a one-innings match. Jamie Merchant (3-38) and Patrick Harty (3-30) combined to dismiss Guyana for 190 all out, for whom Chandrapaul Hemraj, Raymon Reifer and Veerasammy Permaul made 30s. Trailing by a slender three runs on first innings, Jamaica limped to 50-3 at the close of the second day's play.

Batsmen cashed in on the second day's play in Dominica. Yannick Ottley hit 116 and Jason Mohammed 119, as Trinidad piled up 373-9 declared against veteran offspinner Shane Shillingford, who took 3-63. At stumps, the Windward Islands were 71-2.

A total of 12 wickets fell on the first day's play in Basseterre, as Camarie Boyce took 5-65 to dismiss the Leewards for 181 all out. Kieran Powell topscored with 76. At stumps, Barbados were 108-2, having lost Kraigg Brathwaite for another failure, out for six.

Was very impressed with Harty - had never heard of him but looked decent

I haven't had a chance to watch him bowl yet. Is his action similar to Nikita Miller's?

Wickets continued to tumble at Providence, as left-arm spinner Veerasammy Permaul took 6-50 to dismiss Jamaica for 184 all out, Nkrumah Bonner providing the only resistance with 57 not out. Set 182 for victory, Guyana were tantalisingly poised at 155-9 at the close, still needing another 27 runs to win with only one wicket in hand on today's final day. Pete Salmon took 7-56, while wicketkeeper Anthony Bramble has topscored for the visitors so far with 32.

The third day's play at Roseau was washed out without a ball being bowled.

Barbados were in complete control at the halfway stage of their match at Warner Park. Shamarh Brooks hit 116, and he was supported by half-centuries from Shane Dowrich (79) and Kyle Mayers (69) as Barbados made 398 all out, against Rahkeem Cornwall's 4-104. Trailing by 217 on first innings, the Leeward Islands were 10 without loss at stumps.

It's a little bit rawer than Miller's I'd say.

Glad have been tuning in for the Jamaica v Guyana game....absolute corker. Lots to enjoy for a fan of bowling.

A sevenfer on debut for Pete Salmon isn't anything to be sniffed at. Big fish in a small pond? Certainly shouldn't be Koy after this performance. Just needs to go trout there and show his potential and eel do well.

Derval Green delivers when needed.

At Providence, Jamaica beat Guyana by seven runs. Derval Green took the last wicket, and Pete Salmon finished with 7-57, as Guyana were bowled out for 174 all out.

The rain-affected game in Dominica ended in a draw, as the Windward Islands made 293-8 in their first innings. There were half-centuries from Andre Fletcher (88), Devon Smith (67) and wicketkeeper Emmanuel Stewart (56), while Akeal Hosein took 4-61 for the Trinidadians.

In St Kitts, Barbados beat the Leeward Islands by an innings and 81 runs with a day to spare. Chemar Holder took 3-33, and there were two wickets each for Camarie Boyce and Keon Harding, as the Leewards were bowled out for a paltry 136 all out. Tailender Colin Archibald topscored with 53.

Got a three fer yesterday and I had never heard of him. 30 years old and that was his third List A game!

I don't know Uthman either! As you say, only his third FC match at the age of 30, a medium-fast seamer born in Port-of-Spain, who made his FC debut all the way back in 2015. Tells me that he's a fringe player who can only get in the side when national players are on their way to Sri Lanka....

As the fourth round started yesterday, at Bridgetown leaders Barbados were bowled out for 209 all out by Uthman Muhammed (3-47) and Terrence Hinds (3-51), Kevin Stoute topscoring with 52. Out-of-form opener Kraigg Brathwaite failed again, out for four. At stumps, Trinidad and Tobago were 52-1.

In their rain-affected match at St George's, the Windward Islands ended the first day on 212-6. Kavem Hodge has topscored so far with 53, while Guyanese spinners Veerasammy Permaul and Dev Bishoo have two wickets each to date.

At Florence Hall, Jamaica's left-arm spinner Patrick Harty has taken four wickets so far to reduce the Leeward Islands to 215-9. Montcin Hodge made 52 and Terrence Warde 53 not out.

Barbados have taken control of their match going into today's third day at Kensington Oval. Pacer Keon Harding took 5-57 to dismiss Trinidad and Tobago for 175 all out, Jeremy Solozano topscoring with 50. Leading by 34 on first innings, Barbados were 127-2 at stumps, Kraigg Brathwaite finally getting his second half-century this season with 58.

In Grenada, the Windward Islands made 318 all out, with half-centuries from Keron Cottoy (56) and Shane Shillingford (53) against spinners Veerasammy Permaul (4-59) and Dev Bishoo (3-73). Leon Johnson hit an unbeaten half-century as Guyana were 145-3 at the close of the second day's play.

Jamaica were in command at the halfway stage of their match at Greenfields stadium. Patrick Harty took 4-43 to dismiss the Leeward Islands for 227 all out, Terrence Warde topscoring with 65 not out. In reply, Jamaica closed on 260-6, led by a knock of 98 from Jermaine Blackwood, while offspinner Rahkeem Cornwall has taken three wickets to date.

Never seen such a blessed set of bails as Sheyne Moseley's. Ended on 158* no out but there was at least half a dozen mistakes that T and T didn't capitalise on.

How was Ramdin's keeping?

Barbados will be pushing for victory on today's final day in Bridgetown. Shayne Moseley hit 155 not out and Kevin Stoute 55 not out, to take Barbados to 342-5 declared, against Akeal Hosein's 2-66. Chasing an unlikely target of 377, Trinidad and Tobago closed on 48-4 at stumps.

In a high-scoring game in St George's, Leon Johnson hit 189 not out and Chris Barnwell 107, as Guyana made 426 all out Preston McSween's 5-102. Trailing by 108 on first innings, the Windward Islands were 46-1 going into today's final day.

Jamaica tightened their grip on their match in Trelawny on the third day. Wicketkeeper Denis Smith hit 84 to take Jamaica to 385 all out, against Rahkeem Cornwall's 4-130. Trailing by 158 on first innings, the Leeward Islands closed on 134-4, Devon Thomas making 54 against Nicholson Gordon, who's taken two wickets to date.

Curiously wayward at times.

Was largely poor fielding and skin of your teeth stuff.

Add to that list poor batting....

At Kensington Oval, Barbados crushed Trinidad and Tobago by 299 runs. On yesterday's final day, pacers Keon Harding (5-19), Chemar Holder (3-29) and Kemar Roach (2-28) skittled the Trinidadians out for an embarrassing 77 all out, Joshua da Silva topscoring with 23.

In Grenada, the match between the Windward Islands and Guyana ended in a tame draw. Veteran opener Devon Smith hit 147 not out and Kavem Hodge 100 not out, as the Windwards finished on 273-1.

At Florence Hall, Jamaica beat the Leeward Islands by five wickets. Pacer Nicholson Gordon took 5-97 to restrict the Leewards to 294 all out, while Terrence Warde topscored with 74, and there were 54s from Devon Thomas and Jahmar Hamilton. Set 137 to win, Jamaica reached the target thanks mainly to a knock of 66 not out from Nkrumah Bonner. Offspinner Rahkeem Cornwall took 3-58.
