After a week off for Durham and heading into the final round of matches, Yorkshire top the table, but their season finished with a draw against Sussex

The weather looked uncertain for the final match of the season, but Collingwood had no hesitation in choosing to bat first. The innings was dominated by an opening stand of 211 and a 7th wicket stand of 139 by Blackwell and Borthwick, Collingwood eventually declaring on 474-7. Although Worcestershire resisted the new ball and the seamers they were unable to continue this against the old ball and the spinners. Once the ball started to turn, Borthwick's 5 fer and Blackwell's 3 fer finished the innings with Worcestershire all out of 217. With the forecast looking poor, Collingwood had no hesistation in going for the kill by enforcing the follow on. The decision was justified as Worcestershire's second innings was repeatedly stopped for rain. The batsmen were unable to settle, the Durham seamers got regular rest breaks and Worcestershire were bowled out for 193 just before tea on the final day, with Borthwick taking the final 2 wickets.

I think the no spectators plan will change after the two trial matches but it's likely to be members only so no extra revenue.
Durham were one of the counties most keen to get things underway with several other clubs reluctant because of the cost. Have we sorted the finances?! Or cooked the books.
