I'd forgotten the Middlesex game started a day late. He has redeemed himself after the disastrous debut!

Could be opening for England next week.

He could. Apparently James Taylor ( selector not the US one!) was at the Riverside yesterday- might have been looking at Lees?

I think I could score 200 against this Sussex attack, but I guess that doesnt matter for the selectors ..... Malan pounded it to dust and it was all he needed for his cap back, so I assume Stoneman and Sam Robson will be opening in the 5th test.

Was closer than it should have been. Some poor shots when steady cricket was all that was needed.

Anderson and Butler available for Lancs and Overton and Leach for Somerset in upcoming fixture apparently. Presumably then all England players available for tomorrow's fixtures.

If Robinson goes back to sussex that'll be very nice for my fantasy team (although too late to impact the final standings, I fear).
