I see Sam Northeast is playing for Yorkshire- short term loan signing but he has left Hampshire for good. Wonder what happened?

Northeast rumoured to have fallen out with the Hampshire captain.

A quality pick up by Yorkshire, though it would be interesting to see if Northeast can settle up North.

I can see the use of them, after all most tailenders can hold a bat nowadays it's when they send an inexperienced player in,i.e. Potts last CC game that it's missused.

A good day for people with Dutch heritage

Marchant De Lange smashed a 63 ball 75 to put the icing on the case of Somerset's first innings total of 461.

Colin De Grandhomme had a huge score of 174* off 213 in his debut County Championship game as Hampshire got themselves to 488.

Miles Hammond also looked in good nick for Gloucestershire as he top scored with 75 as his team got to 248 all out on stumps.

Also I think Kent are playing.....haven't looked.
